UFC 129: St-Pierre vs. Shields Official “Fight Night” Bonuses

The UFC handed down their customary Fight Night bonus awards following the first ever event in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, $512,000 in total given to the four fighters who put on outstanding performances of the night.

The “Knockout of the Night” went to former UFC light heavyweight champion, Lyoto Machida for his amazing Karate Kid crane kick knockout of Hall of Famer, Randy Couture. The “Submission of the Night” went to Pablo Garza for his flying triangle to open the night. The “Fight of the Night” went to Jose Aldo and Mark Hominick. The fight went the full five rounds with both men showing huge amounts of heart.

The Official Fight Night Bonses:

Fight of the Night – Jose Aldo vs. Mark Hominick
Submission of the Night – Pablo Garza
Knockout of the Night – Lyoto Machida

Each fighter received $129,000 extra for their performances in addition to their respective base salaries.
