Travis Browne vs. Rob Broughton at UFC 135 in Denver, Colorado on Sept. 24th

Undefeated prospect, Travis Browne will square off against British number one ranked heavyweight, Rob Broughton at UFC 135 in Denver, Colorado on September 24th, 2011.

Browne made his debut at The Ultimate Fighter: Team Liddell vs. Team Ortiz Finale against James McSweeney, winning that fight via TKO at 4:32 of the very first round. He has since defeated UFC veteran Cheick Kongo at UFC 120 and most recently Stefan Struve at UFC 130, winning that fight via superman punch KO in the first round, earning a “Knockout of the Night” bonus in the process.

Broughton is the ZT Fight Night Heavyweight tournament winner as well as the Cage Rage British Heavyweight Champion. He made his debut against Vinicius Queiroz at UFC 120 in which he won via rear naked choke. He was expected face promotional newcomer Dave Herman at UFC 131. However in late March, Broughton was replaced in the bout by Joey Beltran, who was later replaced by Jon Olav Einemo.
