Strikeforce sign a deal with Japanese PPV company to show heavyweight WGP

California based MMA promotion, Strikeforce have today signed a deal with Japanese Pay-Per-View company, SkyPerfect to broadcast the forthcoming heavyweight grand prix tournament which begins next month.

Fighters Only Magazine confirmed the news and it interestingly co-insides with the huge decline from a business stand-point for Japanese based MMA promotions, DREAM and Sengoku.

With most of the eight competitors set to compete for the heavyweight grand prix gold having fought in Japan already the shows are likely to be viewed by huge numbers of fans across the land of the rising sun.
