Strikeforce: Feijao vs. Henderson Official Salaries, Injuries, and Medical Suspensions

Newly crowned Strikeforce light heavyweight champion, Dan Henderson walked away with $250,000 check for his efforts this past Saturday night in Columbus, Ohio. Other big earners included former middleweight contender, Tim Kennedy – $50,000, Jorge Masvidal – $30,000 and former 205 pound champion, Rafael “Feijao” Cavalcante – $28,000. Women’s welterweight champion, Marloes Coenen walked away with just $10,000 for her efforts.

Strikeforce lightweight pair, Jorge Masvidal and Billy Evangelista have picked up indefinite medical suspensions following theri three round battle on Saturday night in Columbus, Ohio, with both needing clearance from a doctor before they can resume action.

Interestingly former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion, Rafael “Feijao” Cavalcante escaped with just a 60 day suspension following his brutal knockout at the hands of MMA legend, Dan Henderson in the nights main event.
