Royce Gracie in negotiations with UFC to compete on Rio de Janeiro card

UFC legend, Royce Gracie speaks about the possibility of returning to the octagon for the promotions return event in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil this August, explaining he is in negotiations and it wouldn’t be a problem to compete at 44 years old.

Gracie, speaking via Sherdog.com, Gracie said:

“We are in negotiations… I am 44 years old. My father fought his last fight at 53, so that wouldn’t be a problem.”

Gracie was last seen under the UFC banner when he took on Matt Hughes at UFC 60 and was dominated in every aspect of that fight.
