Rory MacDonald Out, Brian Ebersole vs. Claude Patrick on Main Card at UFC 140

Canadian welterweight, Rory MacDonald has been forced out of his UFC 140 bout with Brian Ebersole, the promotion has already found a replacement for the Australian in Claude Patrick who was originally slated to fight Rich Attonito in the December 10th event. Attonito will remain in the show as a preliminary card contestant.

Ebersole took a lifetime to make it to the octagon but has certainly made his mark since doing so, defeating veterans Chris Lytle in February and Dennis Hallman in August. He is a veteran of the sport with a 48-14-1 record.

Patrick is 14-1 overall and has won his three fights inside the octagon over Ricardo Funch, James Wilks and Daniel Roberts. His only loss came at the hands of former UFC middleweight slugger, Drew McFedries.
