Quinton “Rampage” Jackson offered Matt “The Hammer” Hamill at UFC 130

Former UFC light heavyweight champion, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson has been offered a fight with Matt Hamill for UFC 130 on May 28th in Las Vegas, Nevada.

A source close to “Page” revealed the news earlier today, adding the fighter wasn’t happy about being offered someone lower on the 205 pound ranks and may reject it altogether. A fight with bitter rival, Rashad Evans now appears off the table. This explains the reason why the proposed UFC 129 fight between Matt Hamill and Phil Davis has been taking off the official UFC website.

Jackson got back to winning ways and back into title contention with a win over another former 205 pound champion, Lyoto Machida. Prior to that he’d dropped a unanimous decision to his bitter rival, Evans.

Hamill is riding a five-fight winning streak, most recently he picked up a unanimous decision victory over Tito Ortiz. He also holds notable wins over the likes of Mark Munoz and Keith Jardine during this curretn run.
