Paulo Thiago forced out of UFC on Versus 3 fight with Johny Hendricks due to injury

Brazilian welterweight submission wizard, Paul Thiago has been forced to withdraw from his UFC on Versus 3 fight with Johny Hendricks after sustaining an undisclosed injury during training this week.

A source close to the situation revealed the news, with Hendricks either getting a replacement opponent for March 3rd or he’ll be left in limbo and shifted to a later card.

Hendricks is looking to bounce back from his first mixed martial arts loss, losing via unanimous decision to Rick Story just last month. Prior to that he’d defeated the likes of TUF 7 winner, Amir Sadollah.
