Paul “Semtex” Daley officially signs contract to face Nick Diaz on April 9th

The speculation has ended as Strikeforce welterweight number one contender, Paul “Semtex” Daley will not be pulling out of the fight following the Zuffa buy-out and has officially signed his bout agreement to face current welterweight champion, Nick Diaz on April 9th in San Diego, California.

Cesar Gracie, the manager and trainer of Diaz, revealed the news earlier today, adding it’s good that the speculation has finally ended.

Daley had been very vocal when it came to Strikeforce selling out to the UFC’s parent company, Zuffa LLC., asking why should he help make money for line the UFC and president, Dana White when he had cut him just a little over a year before.
