Once Again Bobby Lashley Gets A New Opponent, Faces Karl Knothe on November 11th in Lubbock, TX

The main event for this Friday night’s Shark Fights 21 event in Lubbock, Texas has yet again been changed after it was revealed Mark Martinez would be unable to take on Bobby Lashley due to expired blood work, now the former WWE star faces Karl Knothe.

Knothe’s manager, Gavin Rydell, speaking via Sherdog, said:

“Karl’s been wanting to fight Bobby Lashley for a while. He’s had some offers before to fight Bobby, but it always fell apart. Karl is excited that not only does he get to fight Bobby Lashley, but it’s also for the Shark Fights heavyweight title.”

Lashley picked up a lacklustre unanimous decision win over John Ott on the Titan Fighting Championship 17 card last March. Prior to that he’d looked terrible against Chad Griggs inside the Strikeforce cage. Knothe is riding a twelve-fight winning streak over the past four years. He last fought in December defeating Victor Valimaki via TKO.
