Nick Catone Injured, Out of UFC 136, Aaron Simpson Awaits Replacement

UFC middleweight, Nick Catone has suffered an undisclosed injury in training this past week and has been forced out of his UFC 136 bout with Aaron Simpson in Houston, Texas on October 8th, 2011. A replacement opponent is expected to be found.

Simpson will be looking to build on unanimous decision wins over Brad Tavares and Mario Miranda in 2011 after suffering back-to-back losses to Mark Munoz and Chris Leben previously.

Catone is riding a two-fight winning streak after defeating Constantinos Philippou and Jesse Forbes. Prior to that he’d also lost to Mark Munoz, as well as Tim Credeur.
