Nam Phan vs. Leonard Garcia II at UFC 136 in Houston, Texas on October 8th

“Ultimate Fighter” season twelve cast member, Nam Phan will once again get his chance at former WEC title contender, Leonard Garcia after their rematch was announced for UFC 136 in Houston, Texas on October 8th, 2011. UFC officials announced the verbal agreementd with bout agreements to be issued. Phan was originally set to face Matt Grice on the card.

Phan, who was originally a replacement himself for the injured Josh Grispi, will be looking for his first win inside the octagon after close decision losses to Leonard Garcia and Mike Brown.

Garcia’s up-and-down career with the UFC restarted after a spell with the WEC when he pulled off a controversial split-decision win over Nam Phan in December. He followed that with a submission loss to Chan Sung Jung via twister.
