Melvin Guillard vs. Jim Miller Verbally Agreed for UFC Fight Night 26 on FX

Two of the top lightweight contenders, Jim Miller and Melvin Guillard have reportedly verbally agreed to meet in the main event of the UFC Fight Night 26 on FX event in Nashville, Tennessee on January 20th, 2012.

Miller was on track for a title shot until he was defeated by former WEC champion, Benson Henderson out via unanimous decision. Prior to that he racked up seven straight wins including a first round submission of Charles Oliveira.

Guillard was also right in the title picture, running through much of the competition the 155 pound division has to offer, including wins over Shane Roller and Evan Dunham, before it all came crashing down when he was quickly submitted by Joe Lauzon.
