Mac Danzig Injured, Vagner Rocha vs. Donald Cerrone at UFC 131

TUF 6 winner, Mac Danzig has been forced out of his fight with Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone due to injury, he suffered a torn muscle in training which forced him out of the UFC 131 bout.

Sources close to the fighter revealed the news earlier today, although there has been no confirmation on the extent or the nature of the injury. The search is now on for a replacement to step in and face Cerrone on the June 11th card.

It appears the UFC have had to go outside of their current roster to find an opponent for former WEC lightweight title contender, Donald Cerrone, handing Vagner Rocha his octagon debut. Rocha’s only big show experience came on the undercard of the Fedor Emelianenko vs. Fabricio Werdum Strikeforce event last year, losing by decision to Bret Bergmark.
