Lyman Good forced out of Bellator 44, Dan Hornbuckle awaits replacement

Former Bellator welterweight champion, Lyman Good has been forced out of his Bellator 44 bout with Dan Hornbuckle at New Jersey’s Caesars Atlantic City, on May 14th, leaving Hornbuckle without an opponent at this time.

The news was confirmed by Sherdog.com earlier today with a source close to the situation. Bellator are currently seeking out a replacement opponent for Hornbuckle to face.

Hornbuckle is 1-2 in his last three fights, losing in the season four welterweight tournament quarter final match against Brent Weedman. Prior to that he lost to Ben Askren which came in season three but defeated Brad Blackburn to earn his spot in the before mentioned welterweight tourney.
