Leonard Garcia Out, Jim Hettes vs. Alex Caceres at UFC on Versus 5 on Aug. 14th

Former WEC featherweight title contender, Leonard Garcia has been forced out of the UFC on Versus 5 card set for August 14th in Milwaukee, Wisconsin after picking up an injury in training and has been replaced by undefeated promotional newcomer, Jim “The Kid” Hettes, who will now face “Ultimate Fighter” season twelve cast member, Alex Caceres on the preliminary card of the evening.

Hettes stands at an impressive 8-0 overall with all of his wins coming by way of submission, six in the very first round. All of his career fights have been on the local circuit, mostly the Cage Rage promotion.

Caceres, better known as “Bruce Leroy” appeared on TUF 12 losing to eventual finalist Michael Johnson in the quarter-finals. He then made his post TUF octagon debut on March 26th at UFC Fight Night: Nogueira vs. Davis, losing to WEC veteran, Mackens Semerzier via rear naked choke in the very first round.
