Keith Kizer: Chael Sonnen Can Apply for a New Licence on December 1st, 2011

Nevada State Athletic Commission director, Keith Kizer has revealed that UFC middleweight contender, Chael Sonnen can apply for his new licence to compete in the state before the year is out, something that could give his long awaited title rematch with the current middleweight champion.

Kizer, speaking via Fighters Only Magazine, said:

“Any applicant may apply for a 2012 license as of December 1, 2011. I cannot really comment beyond that, but I am always hopeful that any applicant can meet his or her burden to obtain a license.”
