Jorge Rivera on Michael Bisping: “Dude, you run around for 15 minutes; you don’t finish people”

UFC middleweight veteran, Jorge Rivera speaks about his trash-talking from the UFC 127 pre-fight interviews aimed at opponent, Michael Bisping, explaining they are designed to make the Brit want to bring the fight to him rather than “run around for fifteen minutes”.

Rivera, speaking via MMAJunkie.com, said:

“You knock me out and shut me the fuck up? Everything is cool. It’s no problem. That’s what I get for running my mouth. I look at this fights, and I think to myself, ‘Dude, you run around for 15 minutes; you don’t finish people.’ Make it an exciting fight. Come to fight me.”

“I don’t take too much of this personally. I’m having fun with everything right now. Let’s just get ready to fight. I’m having fun. I’m entertaining the fans. This is me as a fighter to entertain. To make you guys laugh (and) enjoy it and want to see the fight. And I have to go in there and deliver. That’s what I plan on doing.”

“We’re all trying to get the same thing. Outside of fighting, I don’t hang out with 20 of these guys. We’re just business acquaintances.”
