Jens Pulver racks up back-to-back wins for the first time since 2006

Former UFC lightweight champion, Jens Pulver continues to impress after posting a split decision win over Wade Choate last night on the Chicago Cagefighting Championship in Chicago, Illinois.

“Lil Evil” was able to dictate much of the stand-up early on but faded as the contest moved into the third and final round. Despite that it was enough to convince two of the judges to give him 29-28 in his favour.

The win gave him his first back-to-back win since 2006 when he defeated Kanji Arai and Cole Escovedo, both by knockout. Prior to his most recent two fights he had been on a six fight losing streak.
