Jeff Lacy’s signs to fight Nick Diaz, unless UFC offer up Georges St-Pierre

The camp of Strikeforce welterweight champion, Nick Diaz has confirmed that if the UFC can’t offer up UFC welterweight champion, Georges St-Pierre, their fighter will return to the boxing ring for his next fight, after it was revealed that boxing great, Jeff Lacy has signed to fight Diaz at the end of the year.

Cesar Gracie, speaking via MMAWeekly.com, said:

“Unless GSP is offered up as a sacrifice, Nick will fight Lacy.”

Lacy’s camp, speaking in an official press release, said:

“A few moments ago, former IBF super-middleweight champion & devastating knockout artist, Jeff “Left Hook” Lacy, officially signed on the dotted line to square off against Diaz in the Fall of 2011. Lacy possesses the type of dangerous punching power in both hands that can end the double digit win streak of the rugged Northern California champion.”
