Georges St-Pierre: “My retina is fine as well and my vision will come back to 100%”

UFC welterweight champion, Georges St-Pierre gives an update on his eye injury picked up during his main event fight vs. Jake Shields at UFC 129 this past weekend in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

St-Pierre, posting via his Twitter account, said:

“My medical condition is called Hyphema. My vision is still blurry and my eye sensitive but the blood in my eye has now been absorbed. My retina is fine as well and my vision will come back to 100%”

The ultra-talented Canadian will likely face with his opposite in Strikeforce next, Nick Diaz vs. GSP will represent the first ever UFC vs. Strikeforce “Super Fight”.
