Gegard Mousasi vs. Roger Gracie lined up for the April 9th Strikeforce show

An explosive showdown between two of the most technical light heavyweights in the world, Gegard Mousasi and Roger Gracie, is reportedly being lined up for the April 9th Strikeforce show.

Mousasi hasn’t fought in the U.S. since he was defeated by Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal via unanimous decision. Since then he has won the DREAM 205 pound crown after defeating Jake O’Brien and Tatsuya Mizuno in a four-man tournament aswell as defeating Kyotaro in a K-1 match at Dynamite!! 2010. He had been rumoured to be facing Mike Kyle on his return to the California based promotion but that fight seems to have been scrapped.

Gracie is undefeated at 4-0 overall and recently picked up and impressive submission win over veteran, Trevor Prangley on the promotions January show. He also holds a win over former UFC heavyweight champion, Kevin Randleman.
