Gabriel Gonzaga Challenges Parker Porter for Heavyweight Title this Weekend at Reality Fighting Event

Former UFC heavyweight title contender, Gabriel Gonzaga will come out of retirement to take on Reality Fighting heavyweight champion, Parker Porter from Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut this Saturday night. The fight headlines a stacked card which includes three title fights.

Gonzaga hasn’t fought since October 2010, losing to Brendan Schaub via unanimous decision. It was his second defeat in a row prompting the UFC to cut the talented Brazilian. He will be remembered for his head-kick knockout of Mirko Cro Cop at UFC 70.

Porter captured the title back in February with an impressive first round doctors stoppage over Mike Dexter. He will be looking to test his underrated Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu game against one of the best in the world in “Napo”.
