Evan Dunham forced out of UFC 132, Rafael dos Anjos steps up vs. George Sotiropoulos

UFC lightweight prospect, Evan Dunham has been forced to pull out of his UFC 132 main card bout with Australian submission specialist, George Sotiropoulos in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 2nd due to injury, the severity of the injury is currently unknown. Brazilian lightweight, Rafael dos Anjos has agreed to step up and face the dangerous Australian.

Dunham was looking to get back to winning ways after suffering back-to-back losses to Sean Sherk and Melvin Guillard over the past few months. A replacement opponent for Sotiropoulos is expected to be named shortly.

Dos Anjos seen his three fight winning streak, which included a submission win over Terry Etim, come to an end last time out, losing via submission to Clay Guida in August.

Sotiropoulos was on the verge of a title shot prior to his most recent trip to his homeland, down under, where German kickboxer, Dennis Siver stuffed all of his takedown attempts and out pointed the Aussie to earn a unanimous decision win.
