ESPN’s MMA Live Host, Jon Anik Officially Signs with the UFC Announce Team

The host of ESPN’s MMA Live, Jon Anik is set to become part of the UFC’s announce team starting in January, helping the Las Vegas based promotion with their crossover to the FOX Network.

Anik, speaking via a official press release, said:

“I believe the UFC’s a strong a brand as there is in professional sports, but what really drew me to this organization was the people behind it. I think as strong as this organization is, it’s the people behind it. It’s a well-oiled machine, I just hope I don’t get in the way. I’m very excited to get started. It’s a dream come true.”

Anik will work on the FX fights which will mean he’ll be heavily involved in the production of “The Ultimate Fighter” when the shows fights are aired live on the network. Anik has already anchored multiple UFC events live for ESPN over the years as part of the MMA Live crew, gaining expert insight from the likes of Kenny Florian, Frank Mir and Stephan Bonnar.
