Cody McKenzie injured, Gleison Tibau vs. Bart Palaszewski at UFC 130

TUF 12 cast member, Cody McKenzie has been forced out of his UFC 130 bout with Bart Palaszewski due to injury, stepping in will be Brazilian brick wall, Gleison Tibau. The UFC confirmed the news today, with Tibau verbally agreeing to the fight.

Tibau has won three of his last four fights, beating the likes of Caol Uno, Jeremy Stephens and Rich Clementi. He was last seen in action at the end of March, defeating Kurt Pellegrino via split decision at UFC 128. The last lost was to Jim Millr on the judge’s scorecards at UFC Fight Night 22 in September.

Palaszewski is quite the veteran in this bout, after competing in forty nine professional fights in his mixed martial arts career. His biggest win to date came against the last man to win the WEC title, Anthony Pettis, winning the fight via split decision.
