Cheick Kongo eyeing June return, Shane Carwin potential opponent

Wolfslair MMA Academy heavyweight slugger, Cheick Kongo is targeting a June return to the octagon following back surgery in December, and a big name possible opponent lurks in the background.

A source close to the situation revealed earlier today that the timeline could be perfect for a showdown with former UFC interim heavyweight champion, Shane Carwin.

Kongo was last seen in action at UFC 120 in October, having a point deducted late on in the fight for repeatedly grabbing the shorts against Travis Browne, a move that ultimately seen the fight ending in a draw.
