Cain Velasquez back in the gym following surgery on his damaged shoulder

UFC heavyweight champion, Cain Velasquez is already back at the gym after surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff, something that’s likely to keep him out of the octagon for the majority of 2011. Velasquez’ original opponent for his first title defence, Junior dos Santos has now been forced into becoming a coach on “The Ultimate Fighter” reality show alongside former title holder, Brock Lesnar.

Velasquez, posting via his Twitter account, said:

“Surgery went well. Back at Joe Grasso’s lifting legs. Best place to train.”
