Bellator FC signs MMA veteran, Joe Riggs to a multi-fight deal

Former UFC and Strikeforce veteran, Joe Riggs has signed a multi-fight deal with the Bellator Fighting Championships this week. Riggs is on a two-fight winning streak, his most recent win, a win over Louis Taylor on the Strikeforce Challengers 10 card in August, a card he actually headlined.

Bellator CEO, Bjorn Rebney, speaking via Sherdog.com, said:

“Joe is a battle-tested veteran who brings it in every fight. He is a great addition to our middleweight division, and I’m looking forward to seeing Joe in action during Season 4.”

Riggs also spoke on the test that is the Bellator middleweight division:

“Bellator has a lot of well-rounded, talented guys in their middleweight division. There are some really good middleweights for me to test myself against, and it was one of the reasons I came to Bellator.”
