Alistair Overeem: Brock Lesnar is Not Going to Get Out of the First Round

The last Strikeforce heavyweight champion turned UFC contender, Alistair Overeem speaks about his upcoming UFC 141 main event bout with former UFC heavyweight champion, Brock Lesnar in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 30th, explaining the former pro wrestler will not get out of the first round.

Overeem, speaking via, said:

“I don’t really talk about training, so there’s nothing to say there. I’m just going to do the usual. I know my body, I know how it works, and I’m very confident. It’s going to be a knockout victory in the first round. He’s not going to get out of the first round.”

Overeem is on quite the roll as of late holding the Strikeforce, DREAM and K-1 World Grand Prix titles respectively. He was last seen controlling Brazilian submission machine, Fabricio Werdum in the quarter finals of the Strikeforce heavyweight grand-prix to pick up the win.
