Alex “Bruce Leroy” Caceres Drops to 135lbs. vs. Cole Escovedo at UFC on FOX

“Ultimate Fighter” season twelve cast member, Alex Caceres will make his 135 pound debut when he faces former WEC champion, Cole Escovedo on the very first UFC on FOX event in Anaheim, California on November 12th, 2011. The Las Vegas based promotion made the announcement today meaning both men have likely signed official bout agreements.

Caceres dropped to featherweight following his time on the reality show which saw him eliminated at the semi-final stage by Michael Johnson. He was submitted by Mackens Semerzier on the UFC Fight Night 24 card before tapping once again to Jimmy Hettes last month on the UFC on Versus 5 card.

Escovedo returned after three years out with a serious staph infection to post a 6-2 record on the local circuit. He was called up to the UFC only to lose a one sided affair to Renan Barao before Takeya Mizugaki TKO’ed him at UFC 135 last month.
