#2 Ranked Featherweight, Hatsu Hioki Signs Multi-Fight Contract With The UFC

Top rated featherweight, Hatsu Hioki has finally put pen-to-paper on a multi-fight deal with the UFC after weeks of speculation, with the Las Vegas based promotion revealing the news just hours ago.

Hioki (24-4-2) is considered to be one of the best 145 pounders in the world after competing under the Sengoku and Shooto banners in Japan. He gave up his Shooto title for the move to the UFC just last month.

Hioki travelled to Canada in June for UFC 131 and met with officials while working out at the Tri-Star gym in Montreal. There is currently no word on when or who he will face in his octagon debut.
