UFC 127 – Nick Ring vs. Riki Fukuda added to UFC television preliminary card broadcast’s

The UFC have added a third bout to their television preliminary card broadcast’s for UFC 127 this coming weekend from Sydney, Australia, now including the middleweight bout between Nick Ring and Riki Fukuda.

A source close to the situation confirmed the third bout, adding to the lightweight bout between Spencer Fisher and Ross Pearson and the light heavyweight bout between Alexander Gustafsson and James Te Huna.

Ring hasn’t seen action since he scored a majority decision win over eventual winner, Court McGee on the hit reality show. He was subsequently forced to pull out of the competition due to a torn ACL and a lingering knee injury. Fukuda will be making his octagon debut and is currently the DEEP middleweight champion, undefeated since 2008 and holds a notable win over Murilo “Ninja” Rua at DREAM 8 back in 2009.
