The UFC Returns To Japan For The First Time In Ten Years This December

UFC President, Dana White has today revealed that UFC is planning on touching down in Japan for the first time in over ten years during the month of December. The promotion hasn’t been seen in the Far East since December 2000 when UFC 29 took place. The promotion has recently signed a couple of Japanese fighters including Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto and Michihiro Omigawa, although both came up short in their octagon debuts.

White, speaking via Japanese based MMA magazine, Kampiro, said:

“Finally, in December, UFC will land in Japan … A Japan event is already in this years schedule.”
