Jason “Mayhem” Miller vs. Tim Kennedy scrapped from Mar. 5th show in Columbus, Ohio

The third meeting between Strikeforce middleweights, Jason “Mayhem” Miller and Tim Kennedy has appearently been scrapped from the promotions March 5th show in Columbus, Ohio, with no reason for the decision given at this time.

A source close to the situation revealed the news over the weekend with the promotion also confirming the decision. Instead, Kennedy will fight Luke Rockhold, the company announced on Monday via press release. It is unclear whether “Mayhem” will be issued a different opponent.

The pair had met twice before and this was set to be the rubber match to settle the score once and for all. A unknown Kennedy came away with his hand raised via decision back in 2003 before Miller caught up and reversed that result four years later.
