WEC 52: Faber vs. Mizugaki Official Weigh-in Results

The twenty two fighters set to compete tonight on the WEC 52 card in Las Vegas, Nevada took to the scales yesterday, with one fighter failing to make the desired weight at the first time, but did drop to the required weight in the end.

One fighter who was on their desired mark was former WEC featherweight champion, Urijah Faber who dropped to bantamweight for the first time.

Faber, speaking at the weigh-ins, said:

“I’m ready. I can’t wait. It’s been a fun cut. It’s been a little difficult at the end, but I feel great. I’ve got a great opponent in Mizugaki – he comes forward and can take a beating. He can give a beating too, but I’m not going to let him.”

* Micklewright weighed 158 pounds on his first attempt. He was given one hour to cut an additional two pounds. According to WEC officials, he weighed 156 pounds on his second attempt.
