WEC bantamweight champion, Dominick Cruz defeatrd challenger, Joseph Benavidez in a five round battle holding on to his title tonight at WEC 50 in Las Vegas.

WEC lightweight contender, Anthony Pettis put himself in the number one contenders slot in the division submitting Shane Roller in the dying seconds of the third round with a triangle choke.

Undefeated WEC featherweight, Chad Mendes picked up the biggest win of his career defeating Cub Swanson in a one-sided decision.
