UFC on Versus 2 Official Salaries, Injuries, and Medical Suspensions

The California State Athletic Commission have published the fighters salaries for who competed on the UFC on Versus 2 card last Sunday night in San Diego, with former PRIDE lightweight champion, Takanori Gomi taking home the massive $80,000 for his quick knockout win over Tyson Griffin, while main event star, Jon Jones took home $46,000.

The California State Athletic Commission quickly followed up with the injuries and medical suspensions issued for fighters competing on the UFC on Versus 2 card. The major injuries were sustained by welterweights, John Howard (possible facial fracture) and DaMarques Johnson (possible right orbital fracture).

Jacob Volkmann: Suspended 30 days (21 days no contact) unless cleared by a physician (loose upper incisor).

James Irvin: Suspended 45 days (30 days no contact) for precautionary reasons. Additional suspension of 60 days (facial laceration) unless cleared by a physician.

Igor Pokrajac: Suspended 60 days (60 days no contact) unless cleared by a physician (scalp laceration).

Mike Massenzio: Suspended 45 days (30 days no contact) for precautionary reasons.
