UFC 120: Bisping vs. Akiyama Official “Fight Night” Awards

The UFC tonight handed out their bonuses tonight to fighters who went above and beyond in their respective fights inside the cage at UFC 120, with a total of $200,000 paid out.

The “Fight of the Night” award went to the main event of the evening; Michael Bisping vs. Yoshihiro Akiyama. The Brit emerged victorious on all three judge’s scorecards. Both men walked away with $50,000. Former WEC welterweight champion, Carlos Condit earned himself the $50,000 “Knockout of the Night” award for his first round stoppage of Dan Hardy, while promotional newcomer, Paul Sass picked up the $50,000 “Submission of the Night” award for his first round triangle choke victory.

Fight of the Night – Michael Bisping vs. Yoshihiro Akiyama
Knockout of the Night – Carlos Condit
Submission of the Night – Paul Sass

Each fighter received $60,000 extra for their performances in addition to their respective base salaries.
