UFC 110: Nogueira vs. Velasquez drug tests come back clean

UFC officials confirmed today that Eight fighters underwent drug testing at February’s UFC 110 event that took place Feb. 21 at Acer Arena in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. All eight tested clean for performance-enhancing drugs and recreational/drugs of abuse.

The NSW Combat Sports Authority, the local regulator, oversaw the drug testing.

Those tested included headliners Cain Velasquez and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. The commission also randomly tested six other fighter.

All the chosen competitors tested negative for drugs of abuse (such as marijuana and cocaine), as well as anabolic steroids and other performance-enhancers.
