Two heavyweight clashes added to UFC 121, Gonzaga vs. Schaub and Duffee vs. Madsen

Two major heavyweight announcements have been made for UFC 121, former heavyweight title contender, Gabriel Gonzaga will take on Ultimate Fighter 10 runner-up, Brendan Schaub and UFC knockout record holder, Todd Duffee will face Ultimate Fighter 10 cast member, Jon Madsen in Anaheim, California on October 23rd, 2010.

Gonzaga was last seen in action on the March UFC on Versus 2 card where he lost to knockout artist, Junior dos Santos. As for Schaub, he has been on a roll since losing in the finale, defeating both Chase Gormley and Chris Tuchscherer via first round knockout.

Duffee is the holder of the record breaking seven-second win last August over Tim Hague. He was upset in his last fight when he was knocked out late on in the third round by Mike Russow after dominating the entire fight. As for Madsen, he scored a split decision win over Justin Wren on the season ten finale of the reality show, before picking up unanimous decision wins over both Mostapha Al-Turk and Karlos Vemola this year.
