Tim Sylvia vs. Mariusz Pudzianowski event pushed back to May 21st

The upcoming MMA event featuring former UFC champion, Tim Sylvia vs. five-time World Strongest Man, Mariusz Pudzianowski has been moved from April 23rd to May 21st.

Event promoter, Corey Fischer told MMAFighting.com earlier today:

“The event is definitely happening. We moved it back a month, but we have the pay-per-view contract signed, arena contract signed, and we’re moving forward. I’m not expecting my matchups to change. It will all be announced on Friday.”

That leaves Seth Petruzelli and Houston Alexander pushed back as well and “The Silverback” is not very pleased with the delay, via the Underground Forum:

“Now I just got the contract to fight Houston Alexander and they just called my manager this morning to push it back till who knows when!!!!”

“I am so sick of this sh*t, I am sorry to rant but I just need to get it out off my chest. I know I can compete with top level guys, and I deserve to be in the big shows. I am sick of the inconsistency of smaller shows and them always getting pushed or canceled. I want to fight every 3 months or so but this makes it impossible!!! I don’t know what else to do at this point….”
