Thiago Silva forced out of Tim Boetsch UFC 117 fight with undisclosed injury

UFC light heavyweight, Thiago Silva has been forced to pull out of his fight with Tim Boetsch at UFC 117 with an undisclosed injury.

According to MMAWeekly.com, a source close to the situation revealed the news, Thiago did struggled to train for his last fight due to back problems though.

As for Boetsch, he will remain a part of the UFC 117 card on August 7th, that octagon newcomer, Todd “Bulldog” Brown will step up to replace the Brazilian.

Brown is riding a five fight winning streak and enters the octagon with an impressive 11-1 record and last fought in November 2009 socring a win that night over Rodney Sleepers.
