Strikeforce Challengers VII attendees, live gate and salaries

Strikeforce Challengers Series most recent card was headlined by a undefeated Lavar “Big” Johnson vs. Lolohea Mahe. The California State Athletic Commission has confirmed that the event drew 4,963 attendees for a live gate of $109,222 and the total payroll for the event was $73,000.

“Strikeforce Challengers VII: Johnson vs. Mahe” was held at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California. An average revenue of $22.01 per ticket issued was also confirmed.

This is a big improvement since the last Strikeforce Challengers Series. Infact the “Johnaon vs. Mahe” event did a 114% increase in attendence and a 26% increase in gate revenue. Challengers VI: Kaufman vs. Hashi, held February 26th in San Jose, California, drew 2,318 attendees for a live gate of $86,440.

Lavar Johnson picked up the event-high $16,000 for his main-event win over Lolohea Mahe, Justin Wilcox ($12,000), Andre Galvao ($10,000) and Ron “Abongo” Humphrey ($7,000), all picked up main-card victories as well.

Ron “Abongo” Humphrey: $7,000 ($3,500 win bonus)

Andre Galvao: $10,000 (no win bonus)

Miesha Tate: $5,000 ($2,000 win bonus)
def. Zoila Frausto: $3,000

Justin Wilcox: $12,000 ($6,000 win bonus)
def Shamar Bailey: $4,000

Daniel Cormier: $500 (no win bonus)
def. John Devine: $2,500
