Stephan Bonnar takes second loss in just a month

UFC light heavyweight, Stephan Bonnar has pick up his second loss in less then a month, he ultimately lost his appeal to overturn the controversial UFC 110 loss to Krzystztof Soszynsky due to to a cut caused by a headbutt, which resulted in a third round stoppage last month in Sydney, Australia.

According to MMAJunkie.com, Craig Waller, the Executive Director of the Combat Sports Authority of New South Wales, revealed via email:

“A review was held … and the Combat Sports Authority of NSW did not seek to interfere with the referee’s decision.”

Bonnar had this to say:

“It was obviously a battle between me and [the NSW commission], but as far as the fight, Dana White’s a fair guy, and I’m pretty confident we’ll have that rematch soon.”

Multiple reports report the rematch is set to go down June 19th in Las Vegas at the season eleven finale of “The Ultimate Fighter”.
