Nate Diaz to continue run in the UFC welterweight division

TUF 5 lightweight winner, Nate Diaz made his second venture to the 170lb division, finishing former boxer Marcus Davis in the third round. Now by the sounds of his Trainer and Diaz himself, it looks like he’ll continue his run in the welterweight division.

Cesar Gracie, speaking via MMAJunkie.com, said:

“I think his future is at 170, whether it be now or a couple of years from now,”

Diaz himself recently commented on this saying:

“If I want to make (155 pounds) all year long and be starving and miserable for that long, I’d probably want to get paid more, Until I start getting paid more, maybe I should ease up a weight class.”
