Heavyweight, Stefan Struve inks new four-fight deal with the UFC

Heavyweight skyscraper, Stefan Struve has inked a new four-fight deal with the UFC after the Dutchman’s new management company, Alchemist Management, announced the new contract today.

Struve, 20-4 MMA, 4-2 UFC, lost his UFC debut at UFC 95, losing to Junior dos Santos in the first round after dos Santos stormed Struve with an aggressive flurry. Struve won his next fight at UFC 99 against Denis Stojnic. Struve defeated UFC newcomer and previously undefeated Chase Gormley on October 24, 2009 at UFC 104. Struve then signed a new four-fight deal with the UFC.

His first opponent with the newly signed deal was against returning veteran Paul Buentello at UFC 107, defeating Buentello by majority decision. Struve fought Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights winner Roy Nelson on March 31, 2010 at UFC Fight Night 21 losing via TKO on that night. Struve then and most recently faced UFC newcomer Christian Morecraft at UFC 117, defeating Morecraft via KO at 0:22 of round 2.
