Former IFL Champ, Ryan McGivern enters Bellator’s middleweight bracket

Bellator officials today announced that former International Fight League (IFL) champion Ryan McGivern (13-6 MMA, 0-0 BFC) is the sixth fighter to join Bellator Fighting Championships’ season-two middleweight tournament.

After a 16-month layoff from the sport, McGivern will look to win $100,000 and a guaranteed title shot against current Bellator middleweight champion, Hector Lombard.

The confirmed middleweight participants are as follows:

Ryan McGivern (13-6 MMA, 0-0 BFC)
Jared Hess (10-1-1 MMA, 2-1 BFC)
Sean Loeffler (18-4 MMA, 0-0 BFC)
Bryan Baker (11-1 MMA, 1-0 BFC)
Matt Major (6-1 MMA, 0-0 BFC)
Eric Schambari (11-1 MMA, 0-0 BFC)
