Diego Sanchez most likely going back to 155lbs, title shot most important thing

Former UFC lightweight title contender, Diego Sanchez prefers the lightweight division after a recent return to welterweight, explaining whoever makes sense to climb the ladder to a title shot will be the make the final decision that more easier.

Sanchez, speaking via MMAJunkie.com, said:

“I’d probably prefer 155 (pounds), but my one goal is to win the title.I think it all just comes down to preparation and the decisions that you make and what you do in your training camp. My motto is, ‘Just earn it.’ Just earn the ‘W,’ and that’s what I’m going to do. I’m going to work and earn the ‘W.’”

“I’d like to go back and show people what I could have done if I was training right. All I want to do is fight whoever makes sense to climb the ladder the fastest, whether it’s at 170 or 155.”
