Brendan Schaub wants future fight with former champion, Frank Mir

UFC heavyweight, Brendan Schaub has revealed that he’s looking to take on former UFC heavyweight champion, Frank Mir after defeating dangerous Brazilian, Gabriel Gonzaga last night at UFC 121 in Anaheim, California.

Schaub, speaking via MMAJunkie.com, said:

“The last couple of fights I’ve been so unsatisfied. This one, I definitely thought I was going to get the finish. It just didn’t happen, but it’s always good to know you can go three rounds. Look at my face; I’ve been in a fight. It’s definitely the best feeling that I’ve had in the UFC so far.”

“I’d love to match up with Frank Mir. He’s one of the stars in the division, and I think I would give him a lot of problems. It’s in (UFC president) Dana White and (UFC matchmaker) Joe Silva’s hands, but I think that would be a good fight for me.”
